In 1994 Montegrappa dedicated the two roses collection to two important British families, the Yorks and the Lancasters, both descendants of the royal house of the Plantagenets. From 1455 until 1485 the two families fought each other for the succession to the throne of England. After alternating fortunes and violent disputes, the issue was settled with the disappearance of the competing dynasties and the ascent to the throne of Henry Tudor, the last heir of the Lancasters who married a York, daughter of Edward IV.
Sterling silver with an 18kt gold nib.
