Travel to the year 1872, the inception of the S.T. Dupont brand and the era of Napoleon II and Empress Eugenie.
This period inspired the great French furniture houses and Second Empire style. Floral marquetry, or inlaid wood, inspire the delicate and finely engraved pale gold floral patterns. Brown and black placed lacquer provide rich contrast. The ornate clip, which highlights the splendor and sophistication of the brand, is hand sculpted from bronze and hand-set with 8 rubies. The pen top is adorned with D&D as a tribute to Lucien and Andre Tissot Dupont, who created the brand. Engraved medallions are featured on the barrel bottom of the fountain pen, and also on the fountain pens opulent 18kt gold nib. Celebrate S.T. Duponts 140th anniversary with the fantastic Neo-classique President. A limited edition of 1,872 pieces.
