Platinum has developed a new ink that is the best black in its 104 year history.
The new ink is a pigment ink that has great colour density. It is lightfast and waterproof when dry, and designed to minimise bleeding and feathering.

Perfect for archival use.

Pigment inks have more sediment than regular dye based inks. It is recommended to empty your pen after use, and to not let pigment ink dry up inside.

When cleaning the pen after using Chou Kuro ink, use purified water. Avoid washing it with tap water as it reacts with minerals contained in the water and makes it difficult to
remove stains.
