Before the invention of the pencil, medieval scholars would use a silver tip to draw fine lines. This is the idea behind Beta,pen - a range of pens made of aluminum or wood with an integrated, specially alloyed metal tip (model twin: two metal tips).

Beta,pen can be used to write on virtually every paper surface, at every temperature or in any climatic conditions. There is no ink so it can't dry up or leak.
