The KUM AS2M Automatic sharpens pencils to an extra-long point in two stages; one hole is used to shape the wood and the second shapes the lead.

The sharpener features an automatic brake which prevents pencils from being over-sharpened. It has a flip-top style with a small waste container, and also comes with two spare blades. It is suitable for all round, hexagonal and triangular shaped pencils.

The blades are made of high carbon steel and are long-lasting and very sharp. Dynamic torsion action built into each blade makes for a smoother, cleaner cut.
