This special edition pencil is the fifth entry in Blackwing's Eras series - honouring Blackwing's heritage with designs inspired by the Blackwing 602's unique history.

The Blackwing Eras (2024 Edition) pencil sports a retro design inspired by the Microtomic 603. Each box includes 12 special edition pencils with a deep blue barrel, silver imprint and ferrule, a pink eraser, and their soft graphite (as in Blackwing Matte).

In 2020, they launched the first Eras pencil celebrating 10 years of the Blackwing revival with a design pulled straight from the 1930s. In 2021, they released the second Eras pencil paying tribute to the Palomino pencils that inspired the Blackwing revival. 2022 honoured the arrow-punched ferrule found on Blackwing pencils in the mid-20th century. In 2023, Blackwing released a design inspired by the Van Dyke 601.
