The sleek and slim design of the Kaweco Special Fountain Pen is a classy addition to the Kaweco Aluminium fountain pen line. The octagonal barrel consists of anodised solid aluminium with a matte black finish. The cap screws on to the body to securely close the pen, and also posts on to the back of the barrel during writing.

Since the pen is full-sized, it will accept a universal converter, as well as any short or long international ink cartridges. The pen features the iconic silver Kaweco logo on the cap. It measures 14.2cm in length when capped, 16.3 cm long when the cap is posted on the back of pen barrel, and 1 cm in diameter.
