Pilot's Custom Urushi is crafted from vermilion red ebonite and lacquered with pure Urushi lacquer by Japanese maki-e artisans using a lacquering technique called Roiro, which creates a uniform and mirror-like finish. Each Custom Urushi pen barrel is lacquered, cured and polished three times to create this exquisite finish.

This is a substantial pen, with a 15mm diameter and an oversized #30 nib.
